What this does: the UV printer stacks many passes of clear/gloss ink to
build physical 3D height directly on a flat substrate, then prints color on top in the
same job. No CNC carving needed. Practical max relief is ~0.5–1 mm
(~4–10 passes on a Roland MO-240).

Relief Build-up
AI gives true 3D shape; brightness mode raises bright pixels and is faster.
Derived: 6 passes
Uncheck for a clear/textured-only print (no color ink).
Required for vivid color on dark or natural wood. Skip for white/light substrates.

Adjust pricing assumptions
Defaults assume Roland ECO-UV EUV5P at ~$160 / 500 ml ($0.32–0.40 / ml).
Relief build-up is ink-hungry: each pass deposits ~0.085 mm of cured ink,
which works out to ~85 ml/m² of liquid at full image density. White
and color rates are typical Roland MO-240 spec values; tune to match your
supplier invoices and ink-density profile.
