Scale any STL to new wood dimensions, thickness, and carving depth
Upload an STL file created at one size and enter the dimensions of your new workpiece. The converter scales X and Y to fit. Optionally change the material thickness and carving depth — the relief is linearly remapped to the new Z range so the proportions of the carving are preserved.
You get a ZIP containing the scaled STL and a setup PDF with the new dimensions in decimal, fraction, and metric formats — ready to take to your machine.
Use case: Create an STL for 9 1/4" x 13 7/8", edit the heightmap to your liking, then use this tool to produce versions for 11 1/4" x 16 7/8" or any other size. Same relief, different wood.
