Photo2Form is a tool designed for CNC hobbyists, laser engraving enthusiasts, and professionals to quickly transform images into ready-to-use files for CNC carving and laser engraving.
Our goal is to streamline the workflow — from photo to finished piece — minimizing complexity while maximizing creativity.
Photo2Form was built to empower makers, simplify CNC relief carving and laser engraving preparation, and put powerful image conversion into everyone's hands.
What We Offer
- CNC 3D Relief Carving: Upload a photo, get an STL file ready for import into CAM software (VCarve, Fusion 360, Kiri:Moto, etc.). AI-powered depth estimation creates realistic 3D relief models.
- Laser Engraving: Upload an image, select your laser machine and material, and get ready-to-use files for LightBurn, LaserGRBL, or direct G-code. Optimized settings for wood, leather, ceramic tiles, acrylic, and more.
AI-Powered Depth Estimation
Photo2Form uses Depth-Anything-V3 DA3MONO-LARGE, a state-of-the-art monocular depth estimation model specifically designed for single-image depth estimation.

The Apache 2.0 license permits commercial use. Unlike traditional brightness-based methods, this AI model understands realistic depth relationships—noses protrude, eyes are recessed, and distant mountains are far away—producing dramatically more realistic relief carvings.
