UV Printing

Pick the workflow that matches your output: a flat photo print, color on top of a CNC carving, or a full 3D relief built up entirely from layered UV ink.

Flat UV Print

Print a photo flat onto wood, acrylic, metal, or tile. White ink base layer, optional gloss channel, and registration marks.

3D Color Relief

CNC carves the physical depth, then the UV printer prints full color on top. Registration marks align both steps exactly.

UV Relief Print

No CNC required β€” build the relief itself out of layered UV ink. Multiple gloss / clear passes stack to form physical 3D height. Includes ink cost calculator.

UV Only

Which workflow should I pick?

Flat UV Print is the simplest option. Use it when the substrate is already flat (or close to it) and you just want a vivid photo print. White ink base lets you print on dark wood, slate, or acrylic.

3D Color Relief gives you the strongest tactile depth β€” a CNC carves the physical relief in wood, then the UV printer adds color on top. Best for plaques, dedications, and gifts where you want both depth and color.

UV Relief Print needs no CNC at all. The UV printer stacks many passes of clear/gloss ink to build height directly on a flat substrate, and prints color on top in the same job. Lower max relief (~1 mm) but no second machine and no chip-out risk. Great for fine textures and small batches.
